Freelance Site Managers – Onshore Wind (Germany)

Contract: 12 month (Freelance / Project-based)

A leading player in Wind Turbines in Europe is on track to build a record number of wind parks. They are looking for experienced Freelance Site Managers to support multiple repowering and new-build projects.

If you have a strong track record in onshore wind construction , enjoy being on-site, and thrive in fast-moving project environments, this is a great chance to join a long-term pipeline of meaningful work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site activities during wind farm construction or repowering
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, permits, and project specifications
• Monitor progress, quality, and documentation
• Act as the primary on-site interface between project management and construction teams
• Support commissioning and handover activities

Experience

• Proven experience as a Site Manager / Construction Manager on onshore wind projects
• Strong understanding of civil works, foundations, electrical infrastructure, and turbine installation
• Ability to manage contractors and maintain high safety standards
• Freelance availability and willingness to travel within Germany, Austria or Netherlands.
• English language skills are a strong advantage; German or Dutch is welcome
