Freelance Web Developer (Frontend-Focused)

About the Role

We are looking for a freelance WordPress Web Developer to build the new version of an existing website . This is a one-page project , where content is already available, and previous versions will serve as a reference.

The ideal candidate is frontend-focused , with a strong eye for design and user experience, while also being comfortable handling WordPress setup, plugins, and basic technical configurations (domains, hosting, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and launch a new version of an existing WordPress website (1 page)
• Translate existing content and references into a clean, modern design
• Customize WordPress themes and layouts
• Optimize performance and loading speed
• Handle plugin setup and basic integrations (forms, analytics, etc.)
• Manage basic technical setup (domain connection, hosting, SSL if needed)
• Ensure the website is ready for launch

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with WordPress development
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg
• Solid knowledge of:
• Strong understanding of responsive design
• Experience customizing themes (without necessarily building from scratch)
• Familiarity with plugin management and configuration
• Basic understanding of:
• Domains and DNS configuration
• Hosting environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with website redesign projects
• Basic SEO knowledge
• Experience improving website performance and UX
• Familiarity with tools like Figma or design handoff workflows
