Senior Cloud-Native Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)

Location: Karlsruhe, Germany (Hybrid / Office)

The Vision

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who views code through the lens of scalability and reliability. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-quality frontend experiences and robust, containerized backend services. You will be a key player in our Karlsruhe-based client's engineering team, helping move from modular development to a fully orchestrated, cloud-native architecture.

Your Responsibilities

• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Design, develop, and deploy complex features using TypeScript for a seamless, type-safe experience across the stack.
• Frontend Excellence: Build performant, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces using React and modern state management.
• Backend Architecture: Develop scalable RESTful services and business logic using Python and Django, ensuring high performance and security.
• Cloud-Native Operations: Containerize applications using Docker and manage their orchestration, scaling, and deployment within Kubernetes clusters.
• Infrastructure as Code: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable delivery to our production environments.
• Mentorship & Quality: Drive engineering best practices through rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing (unit/integration), and architectural documentation.

Technical Profile

• Language Mastery: Professional-grade experience with TypeScript and Python.
• Frameworks: Expert knowledge of React (Hooks, Context, Performance Optimization) and Django (DRF, ORM, Middleware).
• DevOps Mastery: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Helm, K8s manifests, and monitoring) in a production environment.
• Database Design: Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, migration management, and query optimization.
• Tooling: Experience with modern build tools (Vite), CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI), and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/IONOS).
• Communication: Fluent in English; German language skills are a strong advantage for local collaboration in the Karlsruhe tech hub.
