Functional Lead Quality Control Services (all genders), fixed-term for 15 months
As the Functional Lead Quality Control Services (all genders) with a focus on stability studies and sample logistics at the SC Leverkusen, you are responsible for ensuring and continuously improving GMP‑compliant and efficient processes for stability studies as well as for sample logistics.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
- Lead a team of five responsible for the stability program and sample logistics at the Leverkusen site.
- Execute cGMP‑compliant processes for stability studies and sample logistics; plan, coordinate and ensure all necessary stability studies for the site, including transfers and launches.
- Approve the results of stability studies according to AMWHV 14 and evaluate them to determine and confirm the stability profiles and shelf life of the product.
- Ensure that relevant CMC documents are created or updated.
- Manage the life cycle of technical equipment in the area.
- Ensure GMP‑compliant and timely sample logistics at the site.
- Represent the area in project, product, launch, or design teams and provide technical expertise.
- Represent the area of responsibility during regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Support continuous improvement of effective QC processes, including analysis of trends and evaluations of KPIs relevant to business processes.
- Work across sites and clusters to support strategic goals and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure that all relevant policies, procedures, and specifications are met according to internal and external guidelines, including laboratory safety, GMP, regulations, and requirements from authorities such as the FDA.
- Ensure professional training and continuous development of functionally assigned employees.
Who You Are
- You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or related natural sciences.
- You have several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in quality control or an interface area with experience in stability studies; preferably experience in leading matrix organizations.
- You can demonstrate solid knowledge of the respective cGMP, international regulatory requirements, and pharmaceutical standards, particularly regarding stability and sample logistics.
- You are experienced in using software programs, e.g., SAP, LIMS.
- You are able to foster a trusting environment with open communication and effective teamwork.
- You possess strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills and demonstrate clarity in decision‑making.
- You are highly committed and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in German and English complete your profile.
Additional Information
This position is a parental leave replacement, fixed‑term for 15 months.
