Generative AI Expert in Fashion Retail (Southern Germany)

AI Futures has been exclusively retained to find a Generative AI Expert for one of Europe's most exciting fashion retailers as part of their new AI Team.

This is a rare opportunity to join at inception — shaping how creativity, automation, and intelligence come together to transform one of Europe’s most recognized consumer brands.

We’re seeking AI innovators and system thinkers with a strong foundation in Generative AI technologies and a passion for delivering real-world, high-impact solutions that drive business value.

The Role

As Generative AI Expert , you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the company’s Generative AI strategy - from experimentation through to scalable deployment across key business functions.

• Identify, design, and deliver high-value Generative AI use cases across marketing, operations, and product development
• Evaluate and integrate leading-edge LLMs, text-to-image systems , and automation tools into enterprise workflows
• Develop LLM-powered applications such as intelligent assistants, creative content generators, and workflow optimizers
• Advance the company’s internal AI Assistant platform , enhancing automation depth, usability, and integration
• Partner with design and marketing teams to deliver AI-driven creative workflows using tools like Midjourney and DALL·E
• Build automation pipelines leveraging Make.com, Zapier, and Notion AI
• Design and refine prompt architectures, RAG workflows , and embedding-based search systems
• Act as an AI evangelist , running workshops, enablement sessions, and best practice rollouts to accelerate adoption
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, ML Engineering, and IT to ensure technical scalability and governance

The Candidate

You bring a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and business understanding - with a clear passion for applying Generative AI to practical, high-impact use cases.

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics , or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years hands‑on experience building solutions with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, text-to-image, automation)
• Proven expertise with GPT / LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) and prompt engineering
• Understanding of RAG pipelines, embeddings , and semantic search frameworks
• Experience with visual AI tools such as Midjourney , DALL·E , or Stable Diffusion
• Familiarity with automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, Notion AI)
• Strong communication skills and a talent for enabling business users through training and hands‑on support
• A mix of analytical rigor , creative experimentation , and delivery focus
• Fluent English (additional European languages a plus)
