Global Key Account Manager – CentroMotion
CentroMotion, a global leader in manufacturing friction products, information and control devices, and thermal and motion controls, seeks a seasoned Global Key Account Manager to drive sales, profit growth, and market share within the Americas OEM market.
Your Role: Responsible for attaining sales plan objectives, establishing clear goals, and coordinating with regional key account managers to increase CentroMotion’s market share with global customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead sales to develop and grow the customer base and drive a high level of accountability within the assigned customers.
- Develop and implement tactics and long‑term sales strategies geared toward greater market share and profitability.
- Define and manage CentroMotion’s value proposition, including service, price, and product sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales on market, product, and customer strategies.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust sales strategies and forecasts to meet changing market conditions.
- Develop and maintain global key and strategic accounts, building executive‑level relationships and expanding networks of contacts at target customers.
- Act as customer liaison for quality concerns, design changes, and supplier coordination.
- Lead the review, analysis, and recommendation of new business opportunities and sales leads, providing proposals, quotations, and ensuring product introduction.
- Gather continuous intelligence on product performance, competitors, customer and dealer attitudes, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain annual and operational customer forecasts, manage demand signal flow, and ensure capacity/demand balance and on‑time delivery.
- Work cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, R&D, operations, and finance to exceed customer expectations and reinforce CentroMotion’s brand promise.
What You Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- 5–10 years of proven sales management & business development experience in technical sales or product management within manufacturing/industrial markets.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce CRM.
- Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong time‑management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with sales processes and procedures.
- Ready to travel up to 50%.
What Will Set You Apart
- Prior key account or global key account experience.
- Experience selling to OEMs in agriculture, construction, or lawn & turf markets.
- Experience selling engineered solutions for automotive, agricultural, construction, or manufacturing environments.
- Direct experience selling to John Deere.
