Global Market Access Lead Cardiometabolic (Snr Director/Exec Director)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen within a leading, innovation‑driven global pharmaceutical company with a strong commitment to value‑based, patient‑centric healthcare. As Global Market Access Lead, you will play a critical leadership role within a rapidly expanding business unit dedicated to Obesity and Liver Health, one of the industry’s most dynamic and competitive therapeutic arenas.

This is a high‑impact role with late‑stage asset responsibility (prelaunch), shaping the global access, pricing, and evidence strategy for a priority metabolic assets with dual‑indication potential. With multiple Phase III readouts expected in the near term and preparation for a major worldwide launch underway, you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decision‑making at the highest level and ensure successful access across major global markets.

Sitting at the interface of science, access, policy, and commercialization, you will lead a global team of (HEOR and PMA Manager/Snr Managers) and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Medical, Clinical Development, Commercial, HEOR, and regional/US Market Access to define and deliver an integrated payer strategy for one of the company’s most strategically important brands.

This a unique role, and a rare chance to shape global strategy for a late‑stage, multi‑indication metabolic therapy in a space undergoing transformational change, where payer expectations, competitive intensity, consumer trends, and emerging evidence are rapidly redefining the market landscape.

Requirements

  • Extensive leadership experience in global or above‑country Market Access, pricing, HEOR, and value strategy within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with proven expertise delivering late‑stage launch strategy
  • Deep therapeutic understanding in one or more of: obesity, liver health, cardiometabolic disease, or other evidence‑intensive areas
  • Demonstrated strength navigating consumerised/ private payer landscape. Access pathways as well as traditional HTA and reimbursement models
  • Strong cross‑functional leadership skills, with experience influencing senior stakeholders across Medical, Clinical Development, Commercial, and regional/US teams
  • Track record of leading high‑performing teams and developing talent in global organisations
