Global Transport Manager (m/f/d)

For our Supply Chain Management team at our Burbach site (NRW), we are looking for a qualified candidate to join us as Global Transport Manager (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Develop and implement a global transport strategy balancing cost, service, and sustainability.
• Optimize multimodal transportation networks and manage global material flows.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track and improve transport performance.
• Negotiate and manage logistics service providers, ensuring compliance with service‑level agreements.
• Ensure efficient transport operations and drive the implementation of digital tools for visibility and automation.
• Ensure compliance with international trade, customs, and regulatory requirements and manage associated risks.
• Take ownership of transport budgets and drive cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and support global projects and initiatives.

Your profile:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in global transport management within an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of international transport processes, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
• Experience with transport management systems (TMS).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost and performance management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in international matrix organizations.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
