Our Tech Stack

Our platform is powered by the AWS Serverless Stack (Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), MongoDB, Redshift, Rekognition, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions and Docker. These cutting-edge technologies allow us to deploy and scale fast and easily without much of the classic dev ops hassle. Everything is monitored by our custom monitoring system, Pingdom, CloudWatch, constantly analyzing KPIs of our Foodjis. Our cloud backends as well as the machine software operating on our IoT foodjis in the field are running on GoLang. For predicting future sales and inventory, we utilize state-of-the-art machine learning models in Python, for computational vision detections, we mostly use AWS Rekognition trained on pictures taken from multiple cameras inside our Foodjis. Our mobile app for iOS and Android, as well as our touchscreen software and our operations app are using Ionic in combination with Angular and Capacitor with a sparcle of TailwindCSS to bring our users the best experience in an efficient and modern way. We’re integrating a variety of third-party services like payment providers, ticketing systems and analytics tools via RESTful APIs, custom Capacitor plugins and shared data warehousing. We empower our teams by sharing knowledge in our Engineering Meetings and Engineering Talks.

• Essential: Angular experience fuels your passion

• First-hand exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript, React, NgRx or equivalent cutting-edge frontend frameworks

• SASS, CSS, and HTML are among your strengths

• Preferably, you bring knowledge of Ionic, Capacitor, and app development

• Interested in kickstarting new projects with StencilJS and web components

• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS/UI or a keen interest in mastering it

• Your knack for UI & UX design, combined with an emphasis on usability, sets you apart

• Familiar with Github Actions or comparable CI/CD pipelines
