Skateistan is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grant & Research Assistant to support its Development efforts.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Grant & Research Assistant to support our Development efforts. This is a junior-level mini-job ideal for a student with an interest in nonprofit development, who is looking for part-time, flexible work in a mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and identify new donor opportunities (governments, foundations, corporate, private donors)
• Develop and maintain an initial donor pipeline
• Prospect and shortlist funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities
• Assist in drafting proposals and compiling necessary documentation for grants utilising AI tools
• Maintain accurate records and tracking systems - Salesforce, Google Drive

Requirements:

• Strong research and writing skills (English required, German a plus)
• Familiarity with grant databases, donor research tools, or CRM systems
• Independent, proactive, and well-organized
• Based in Germany (preferred) or remote +/- 2 hours CET

Hours: 10 hours/week, ideally 2 hrs per day on weekdays
Start Date: July/August

Compensation: 13 EUR/hour. Mini-job maximum monthly earning limit of €556
