Grid Connection Manager

Grid Connection Manager G2 are currently working with our client, a growing EPC Company in Germany, to recruit a team to help expansion with this company. They are currently searching for a Grid Connection Manager on a permanent contract to be a leading member of their business moving forwards.

Hours:

40 hours per week Working Pattern:

Hybrid working, predominantly remote excluding client visits and occasional onsite meetings with senior internal stakeholders

As a Grid Connection Manager, you will take full ownership of planning and implementing grid connections for PV, wind, and storage projects-guiding each step from feasibility to commissioning. You'll collaborate closely with grid operators, negotiate technical and regulatory requirements, manage infrastructure tenders, and ensure every project meets grid codes and certification standards.

Requirements Degree in industrial, electrical, or energy engineering-or equivalent vocational training Proven project management experience in medium-voltage or substation projects Background with project developers, network operators, engineering firms, EPCs, or HV equipment manufacturers German speaking to at least C1 level

All applicants must be able to provide satisfactory references for the past 5 years, as well as be eligible for employment in Germany.
