About the Team

Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Ground Systems Engineer to support our Launch team. Do you want to revolutionize space travel in New Space? Then you've come to the right place.

Your Tasks

• Design the architecture of the command and the control system
• Oversee the full design life cycle of the ground systems, from conceptual design to implementation and operation
• Analyse and understand needs through advanced studies, simulations, mock-ups, models, prototypes
• Generate and maintain P&IDs, design documentation and reports
• Define test plans and procedures
• Work with colleagues from different departments across RFA
• Work with external stakeholders and industry partners

Your Qualifications

• BSc or MSc Degree in an engineering or physics field
• 3+ years’ experience in command and control systems
• Hands‑on, operational experience is a plus
• Experience using NX or similar 3D CAD software
• Experience with industrial sensors and control systems
• Experience using MS Office
• Fluent English oral and written (all day‑to‑day activities are performed in English)
• Intermediate or advanced level German is a plus
• Capable of working independently, while prioritizing various tasks
• Able to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team
