Ground Test Software Business Engineer (d/f/m)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (d/f/m) works as Ground Test Software Business Engineer in the Ground Test Process & Means department.

The jobholder will contribute directly to the ground testing of serial aircraft by managing computer systems across programs, close to aircraft and manufacturing areas, and by supporting the digitalisation of all Airbus Commercial Final Assembly Lines.

Your Tasks

• Ensure daily operational support for Ground Test Software on all Final Assembly Lines
• Analyze needs and software requirements related to ground test specificities, such as aircraft evolutions, test requirements and changes in industrial strategy
• Specify required evolutions and challenge the software solutions defined by Airbus suppliers
• Participate in the validation of the ESAO execution module (Ground Tests Assisted by Computer) on all Final Assembly Lines and support the project leader
• Define test dossiers and non-regression tests
• Deploy the new execution module on all Single Aisle Final Assembly Lines in Hamburg, China and the US
• Participate in test automation activities and support the creation of a new test environment
• Support the team at development level for GTSA (satellite application), ensuring compatibility with the ESAO successor (GTSI)

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a technical field (at least Bachelor level)
• At least 1 year of experience in engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in IT / information systems
• At least 2 years of experience in software development, testing and architecture
• Good knowledge of Unix (detailed functional knowledge)
• Advanced application knowledge of Oracle and SQL
• Good knowledge of process management
• Experience and knowledge of product or application lifecycle management (e.g. GPP, Agile/SAFE, V-cycle, V&V, test acceptance plans, software ergonomics) is an advantage
• Fluent German and proficient English skills
