The e-conversion Cluster of Excellence is an internationally collaborative research project at one of Germany's largest technical universities, investigating fundamental energy conversion processes. Within this cluster, scientists from two universities and two Max Planck Institutes in the Munich area, Stuttgart, and Berlin work together in an interdisciplinary manner. The cluster has been funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG) since January 1, 2019, as part of the Excellence Strategy of the German federal and state governments.
Our newly formed data intelligence team will coordinate, monitor, and actively support the development of a central data exchange platform, integrating the diverse data management solutions of individual research groups within the Cluster of Excellence. The planned platform will not only enable the reuse of research data both within and outside the cluster, but will also serve as the basis for accelerated research processes supported by artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation within the framework of the Cluster of Excellence's digital transformation of scientific work.
You can expect an exciting, varied, and challenging role within a motivated team at the Garching campus.
