About the role:
We are looking for a French-speaking Growth Marketing Lead (m/f/d) to play a key role in scaling our patolo pet insurance product in France. As a key member of our French team, you will help drive local marketing execution across the funnel and ensure that our marketing efforts in France are focused, relevant, and effective.
In this role, you will work directly with the Country Manager and closely with global marketing squads to translate local market needs into strong campaigns, experiments, and initiatives. Your mission is not to own one specific channel, but to be the glue between local and global teams, and improve how our marketing performs in the French market by driving local priorities across content, creative, paid, influencer, CRM, website, and conversion-focused projects.
This role is ideal for someone with strong growth marketing instincts, a hands‑on mindset, and a clear bias for execution. You should be comfortable turning ideas into action, running experiments, coordinating stakeholders, and continuously looking for ways to improve acquisition, conversion, and overall marketing impact.
Requirements
Your role in the team:
- Act as the key interface between the French team and global marketing squads (e.g. paid growth, social, CRM), as well as other departments.
- Monitor performance of local marketing initiatives, generate learnings, and turn them into concrete actions and new ideas.
- Translate French market needs and customer insights into strong local marketing briefs, campaigns, and execution plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional campaigns and feature launches across local content, creative, influencer, sales, and global channel owners.
- Identify and boost strategic and tactical opportunities for growth and efficiency.
- Support the Country Manager in shaping and executing the local marketing roadmap for France
- Bring a hands‑on execution mindset: not just planning initiatives, but driving them through to launch and iteration.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, and marketing efficiency in the French market.
What you need to be successful:
- 3–6 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, brand marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong execution skills with a proven ability to drive marketing initiatives independently across multiple channels and stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with marketing: experimentation such as A/B testing, channel management, campaign management or other key function of a fast‑paced marketing squad.
- Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and what drives awareness, acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Commercial mindset and strong performance orientation, with a clear understanding of how marketing contributes to business growth.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across local and global teams and keep projects moving in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working hands‑on and switching between strategy, planning, execution, and performance analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize across multiple initiatives and deadlines.
- Analytical enough to make data‑informed decisions, derive clear learnings, and follow performance closely.
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Full professional fluency (C1‑C2) in French and English; German is a plus. Please submit your application in English.
- Berlin‑based with the ability to be in office at least once per week, in accordance with our hybrid guidelines.
