Head of Accounting & Record to Report - 25104HARRLi

Sub‑Segment Head of Accounting and Record to Report – EMEA (m/f) Position within Dometic, a global market‑leading provider of branded solutions for mobile living, located in Emsdetten, Germany. Reports directly to the Sub‑Segment Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial statements for the Sub‑Segment.

Ensure preparation and execution of legal statutory accounts.

Accurate recording of all financial transactions in the general ledger.

Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank statements, inter‑company transactions, and sub‑ledgers.

Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.

Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the Sub‑Segment.

Collaborate closely with other finance team members and departments to ensure cohesive financial management.

Travel occasionally across EMEA (mainly Europe) as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

Solid experience in accounting or financial reporting; experience with audit firms or group consolidation is an advantage.

In‑depth knowledge of accounting software (AX, D365 or similar).

Excellent attention to detail.

Strong independence and teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with a pragmatic, target‑driven approach.

Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of German is an advantage.
