We are looking for you as soon as possible in our German Headquarter Neu-Ulm as: Head of Aesthetic Division / Business Unit (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Define and execute a growth strategy for the aesthetic (devices portfolio), aligned with global/regional corporate goals.
  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Identify and penetrate high-potential markets and segments and new product categories within medical aesthetics.
  • Strategic Leadership & Growth: Drive product lifecycle and portfolio strategies including new product launches, enhancements, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Commercial Management: Lead the sales and marketing strategy to grow revenue, market share, and brand equity.
  • Commercial Management: Drive pricing strategies, channel development, and customer acquisition models.
  • Commercial Management: Establish partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinics, and distribution partners.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure cross-functional coordination across regulatory, clinical affairs, quality, and supply chain.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor competitive activity and ensure rapid, strategic responses to market shifts.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, CE, MDR, etc.) and company SOPs.
  • Financial Oversight: Full ownership of business unit financials including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and margin optimization.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage capital allocation, operating costs, and ROI for all initiatives.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team including sales and product managers.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a results-oriented and compliant culture focused on excellence, innovation, and customer value.

Qualifications

  • What Sets You Apart: Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • What Sets You Apart: 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the medical device industry, with at least 5 years in aesthetic, dermatological, or energy-based device markets
  • What Sets You Apart: Deep understanding of clinical workflows, customer needs (physicians, aestheticians, patients), and competitive landscape
  • What Sets You Apart: Demonstrated success in launching new technologies and driving commercial scale-up
  • What Sets You Apart: Strong knowledge of regulatory pathways (FDA 510(k), CE Mark, MDR) and clinical evidence generation
  • What Sets You Apart: Experience working with physician networks, clinics, and/or distributors in the aesthetic industry
  • What Sets You Apart: Hands-on mentality with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • What Sets You Apart: Fluent in German and English
