Head of Automated Driving Systems & Components (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Lead and manage a team of engineers working on sensors, ECUs, software, and system integration for automated driving functions
• Define team goals, development roadmaps, and resource planning in alignment with program milestones and strategic objectives
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of system components, including design reviews, release documentation, and validation support by system supplier
• Collaborate with system architects, safety and cybersecurity experts to ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434
• Act as primary technical interface for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding component and system-level topics

Your profile

• Degree in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
• Extensive experience in ADAS or automated driving system development, including component release and system integration
• Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams or cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of system engineering, functional safety, and automotive development standards
• Experience with PLM systems, requirement management tools, and agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
