Head of Controlling (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the controlling function globally, overseeing both operational and strategic controlling activities and lead the team functionally and disciplinarily.
• Take full ownership of FP&A with reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and medium-term planning across business units and local subsidiaries.
• Prepare profitability analyses, KPIs, investment decision support, and special evaluations, delivering actionable recommendations.
• Continuously develop and optimize controlling processes, methods, and systems.
• Ensure policies, internal controls & compliance and collaborate closely with HR Accounting and auditors.
• Report directly to the Global Director Finance / CFO and act as key counterpart to senior management.

Your Profile

• Degree in business or technical studies with a focus on finance/controlling, or a comparable commercial qualification.
• Several years in Controlling/FP&A (8+ years), incl. ≥3 years in leadership, ideally within a multinational organization.
• Strong analytical mindset, assertiveness, execution focus and excellent communication skills with a confident presence and intercultural competence.
• Solid ERP & BI and MS Office skills (e.g. Microsoft Business Central and Power BI) with practical experience in external accounting standards (HGB, LUX GAAP) and transfer pricing is advantageous.
• Business fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
