Key Responsibilities
Responsibility for preparing all individual financial statements of the osapiens Group (currently around 13 entities across 7 countries)Leadership and development of the internal team for general ledger accountingClose coordination and collaboration with central teams for accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel & expense management, treasury, tax, and controllingEnsuring timely preparation, accuracy, and completeness of financial data, including account reconciliations, postings, and financial analysesEnsuring and optimizing intercompany and transfer pricing processes together with controlling and taxFunctional responsibility for the ERP system (Oracle NetSuite), including system maintenance, further development, access management, and providing functional support for finance digitization projectsEstablishing and maintaining an internal control system (ICS) in the accounting area and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and legal requirementsResponsibility for creating, maintaining, and continuously developing a group-wide accounting manualMain point of contact for external audits to ensure smooth audit processesPreparation of accurate financial reports and support for management with relevant analysesSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize accounting processes and interfaces
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications: Completed degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified accountant) Experience: Several years of professional experience in financial accounting with a focus on general ledger and closing processes Technical knowledge: Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards and tax law IT skills: experience with ERP systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite Leadership: proven leadership skills and experience managing a team Industry expertise: experience in a dynamically growing scale-up with a B2B focus, or in a corporate environment with shared service center structures, is a plus Language skills: fluent in German and English, both written and spoken Work style: structured and solution-oriented approach
