The rules for governing AI don’t exist yet. You’ll write them. This is a rare opportunity to sit at the centre of a large‑scale data and AI transformation and define how unstructured data, AI and agentic workflows are governed across a global pharmaceutical company.

Your work will shape how data is used across research, manufacturing, quality, commercial, human pharma and animal health – enabling faster innovation, better decisions, and real‑world impact at scale. What you’ll do

Define enterprise governance models for unstructured data, AI and emerging technologies

Shape what “good” looks like for data products in an AI‑first environment

Influence how R&D, manufacturing, quality and commercial teams use data globally

Coach and lead Product Owners, Architects and Engineers

Challenge assumptions, set direction, and help write the future operating model for data

What you’ll need

Strong background in enterprise data management, data governance or data strategy

Experience working with modern data platforms and complex data ecosystems

Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through ambiguity

A strategic mindset with the confidence to challenge, shape and define direction

Experience in regulated environments, AI, or unstructured data is a strong plus
