Head of Finance (m/w/d) As Head of Finance (m/w/d) you steer the financial development of one of the most promising scale-ups in Europe. In this key role, you actively shape our next phase as a company and play a vital part in realizing our vision with financial foresight, structure, and entrepreneurial thinking. You are responsible for the company’s financial strategy, ensuring all financial decisions align with our expansion plans. You keep an eye on numbers and the big picture: scaling, new markets, new teams—and the financial stability that makes it all possible. We seek an ambitious leader ready to take long‑term responsibility and significantly shape our financial growth. This position offers a clear development path to CFO.

Was ist Deine Aufgabe?

Develop a scalable financial strategy and guide the company through the next growth phase – well-founded, forward-looking, and data‑driven.

Handle all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and transparent reporting for management and investors.

Build a robust forecasting and controlling landscape, including budgeting, revenue/expense planning and liquidity management.

Optimize financial processes and systems and develop meaningful controlling tools (e.g., project, sales, KPI controlling).

Communicate with external partners such as tax advisors, auditors, and investors.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and oversee internal and external audits.

Manage cash flow and ensure financial resources are used strategically for operational growth and investments.

Work closely with management and co‑operate with the COO on financial decision making and growth strategies.

Build, develop, and inspire a growing finance team with a focus on responsibility, independence, and excellence.

Deine Fähigkeiten

Several years of experience in a leading finance role within a rapidly growing scale‑up or dynamic environment, ideally having guided a scale‑up through an investment/ growth phase.

Strong strategic foresight and hands‑on mentality – entrepreneurial thinking and pragmatic execution.

Excellent accounting, controlling, cash‑flow management, and investor reporting expertise.

Experience in building scalable financial structures and processes.

Excellent communication skills – ability to present complex financial topics clearly.

Leadership competence and pleasure in shaping, challenging and developing a team.

Excellent communication in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

40 hours per week (flexible hours)

Home‑office policy: 3 days in office / 2 days remote
