€140,000‑€170,000, plus 50% bonus and healthy benefits. Fluent in German and English.

We are hiring a Head of FP&A who wants to sit at the centre of strategic decision‑making, shape the financial future of a fast‑scaling organisation, and operate as a true partner to the CEO, CFO and private equity investors. This is not a maintenance or reporting role. It is for someone who thrives in growth, complexity and ambiguity, and who wants genuine influence, commercial ownership and visible impact.

What You Will Lead

1. Own the Forward View

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning across P&L and cash.
• Build robust models that inform decisions on investment, CAPEX, pricing, growth and M&A.
• Run the full Risks and Opportunities agenda with clarity, challenge and commercial insight.

2. Shape Performance Understanding

• Deliver high‑impact insights rather than simply reporting numbers.
• Explain financial performance in a way that influences behaviour across the organisation.
• Develop and elevate monthly reporting, KPI packs and board‑level analytics.

3. Build a Best‑in‑Class Data and Insight Engine

• Partner with IT and Commercial teams to streamline data flows, automation and data governance.
• Ensure accurate information is delivered to the right people at the right time.

4. Support Investors and Leadership

• Work closely with private equity investors, providing forward‑looking analysis and value‑creation insights.
• Partner with the CFO and CEO on board materials and strategic performance updates.

5. Cash and Liquidity Insight

• Support treasury with forecasting for liquidity, working capital, covenants and financing scenarios.

Who This Role Is Perfect For

You are ambitious, commercially minded and comfortable operating where the answer is not always obvious. You enjoy combining detail with strategy and want your work to directly influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Deep FP&A or commercial finance experience in a complex or fast‑scaling organisation.
• The ability to quickly understand business drivers and communicate the story behind the numbers.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership and ideally private equity investors.
• Strong technical capability in modelling, Excel, ERP systems (ideally NetSuite) and BI tools such as Power BI.
• Excellent commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge constructively.
• A blend of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
• At least five years in senior FP&A or commercial finance roles, and not someone stepping down from FD or CFO.
• A recognised accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA.

Experience in energy infrastructure or other asset‑heavy, capital‑intensive sectors is helpful but not essential for the right commercial leader.
