A rare opportunity to lead and grow a Building Surveying function for an established real estate consultancy with a strong presence across the UK and Europe. As Head of Germany – Building Surveying & Project Management, you will take the lead on technical delivery, client management and team development within the German market. Working closely with senior colleagues across the region, you will blend strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement in complex instructions, shaping direction, improving processes and strengthening client relationships across the commercial property sector.

This role offers genuine scope to influence how Building Surveying and related services evolve in Germany. You will join a well‑supported international platform with the autonomy to refine approaches, collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to a growing European presence.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop the Building Surveying function across Germany
• Oversee the delivery of technical and project‑related services
• Act as a key client contact, maintaining quality, consistency and commercial focus
• Manage and mentor surveyors, supporting performance and progression
• Work with senior leaders to identify business opportunities and expand market reach
• Drive improvements to operations, delivery standards and ways of working

What you’ll bring

• MRICS (or equivalent) with substantial experience in Building Surveying
• A track record of leading teams and managing client relationships in a consultancy environment
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of the German real estate market
• Fluent communication skills in English and German
• A collaborative, proactive approach and confidence in guiding others
