Head of Group Controlling

Arsenault are proud to be working with a rapidly growing multinational Pharmaceutical CDMO, providing manufacturing solutions across a wide range of compounds, including APIs, Intermediates and biomolecules.

We are currently recruiting for a Head of Group Controlling within the Pharmaceutical/CDMO industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a multinational financial team consisting of multiple business unit controllers and reporting themselves directly to the Global CFO.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Directly responsible for the global company revenue: In the hundreds of millions (euros) and growing rapidly. (33% growth over 2-3 years expected)
• Provide executive leadership in developing short and long-term strategic financial objectives and the accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
• Responsible for the leadership, growth & direction of the global controlling team. (3 separate business units)
• Participate in critical business development activities.
• Play a lead finance role in the further growth and development of the business
• Ability to lead relevant projects within current day to day role.
• Responsible for communicating and implementing policies, operational controls and procedures to ensure an efficient and accurate service to customers globally.

To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:

• 8+ years of experience across finance, reporting, and business partnering with a focus on controlling , preferably within a medium/large company.
• Multiple years experience in a leadership capacity.
• Bachelors Degree in accounting or Finance; strong preference for MBA.
• Experience in working for Big 4 preferred.
• Experience of working for a pharmaceutical company preferred.
• Fluency in English required , with a fluency in German preferred and other languages a benefit.
• Outstanding verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
