We are excited to be supporting a global life sciences organisation undergoing strategic portfolio expansion and integration. As part of this next phase of growth, the business is seeking a Head of Pricing to lead global pricing strategy while ensuring operational excellence across newly integrated product lines.
This is a senior leadership role combining strategic pricing direction, post-acquisition integration support, commercial governance, and analytics transformation.
The position is fully remote within Germany. Candidates must hold permanent residence in Germany.
The Role As Head of Pricing, you will own the global pricing agenda across a complex, innovation-driven portfolio. You will ensure seamless integration of newly acquired product lines into existing commercial structures while maintaining business continuity and margin performance. You will shape long-term pricing architecture while simultaneously strengthening operational pricing execution across countries and headquarters functions. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and commercial enablement.
Key Responsibilities Define and implement the global pricing strategy across multiple product portfolios within regulated healthcare markets. Establish clear pricing governance frameworks, approval structures, and commercial guardrails. Drive standardisation and harmonisation of pricing processes, systems, and data models across regions. Act as senior advisor to executive leadership on pricing-related strategic decisions. Align country organisations and HQ stakeholders around unified pricing methodologies and decision-making processes. Enable local teams to execute operational pricing effectively while maintaining global oversight. Oversee global price list development, ownership, governance, and communication. Lead and facilitate structured price increase initiatives across markets. Partner with sales leadership on complex bids, tenders, and high-value negotiations.
Analytics & Margin Optimisation Own the pricing analytics roadmap and continuously enhance reporting capabilities. Develop deep-dive margin analyses to identify revenue leakage, discount inconsistencies, and optimisation opportunities. Improve deal evaluation tools and financial modelling frameworks. Translate analytical insights into clear commercial actions and measurable improvements.
Your Profile 6–10+ years of experience in strategic pricing, commercial excellence, or revenue management within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medtech, or related B2B healthcare sectors. Proven experience leading pricing initiatives in complex or integration-heavy environments. Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, value-based pricing principles, and commercial governance structures. Advanced analytical capabilities with confidence working with large datasets and financial modelling. Proficiency in analytical and enterprise tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, BI platforms, CRM tools). Ability to translate quantitative analysis into business-relevant decisions. Confident senior stakeholder management skills, including executive interaction. Experience supporting commercial negotiations is advantageous. Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial. Willingness to travel internationally when required.
What You Can Expect Base salary between €130,000 – €170,000. Performance-based incentives (company and short-term bonus components). High visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership.
