Head of Product Development

You will own and lead the end-to-end technical development of

PERGOLUX

products—turning approved product briefs into robust, manufacturable, and scalable outdoor-living solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with deep hands-on engineering, setting new internal benchmarks for quality, simplicity, and customer-perceived value. At

PERGOLUX , you’ll work in a design-driven, international environment where integrity, ambition, and innovation guide how we build premium products that customers love. What You’ll Do

Own and lead the technical product development lifecycle from approved brief through prototype, validation, design freeze, and technical handover.

Translate product intent into durable, scalable engineering solutions, working hands-on with drawings, BOMs, tolerances, and technical documentation.

Lead and develop the Product Development team, ensuring clear ownership, prioritization, and disciplined execution.

Collaborate closely with international suppliers on development, tooling, optimization, and onboarding of new partners.

Establish and continuously improve engineering standards to reduce risk, simplify installation, ensure compliance, and raise overall product quality.

What You’ll Bring

Proven experience leading physical product development for consumer hardware, outdoor living, or construction-related products.

Strong hands-on background in mechanical or structural engineering, ideally with aluminum or steel-based products.

Track record of owning end-to-end technical development from concept to manufacturable design with international suppliers.

Deep expertise in technical drawings, BOMs, tolerances, prototyping, testing, and validation.

A pragmatic, high-ownership leadership mindset—able to balance quality, cost, and speed while holding firm on safety and standards.
