Head of Sales - Central Europe

Purpose of the role

The Head of Sales – Central Europe is responsible for accelerating Camira’s commercial performance across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic.

This is a senior strategic leadership role with full responsibility for revenue, margin, people leadership, commercial discipline, and market development. The RSD will provide the structure, direction, and executional rigor needed to deliver sustained growth, commercial discipline, and build a high-performing team across key OEM, A&D, and dealer channels.

The day to day

To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements

Regional Commercial Leadership

  • Own regional revenue, margin, and profitability (full P&L contribution).
  • Develop and implement a multi-country growth strategy, balancing OEM growth, A&D specification influence, and dealer engagement.
  • Ensure territory structures are clear, efficient, and aligned to customer and market potential.
  • Lead the expansion of Camira’s sales across core and growth markets, sectors and applications.
  • Establish disciplined key account management - structured plans, measurable actions, and defined growth targets.
  • Improve integration of Camira materials into furniture manufacturer programmes through deeper technical understanding, product advocacy, and influence on the design process.
  • Strengthen Camira’s presence within A&D firms across major design cities across the territories.
  • Ensure the team delivers consistent specification activity.
  • Align strategies with dealers to extend reach and secure end-user and project pull-through.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Build a high-performance culture by developing direct reports and ensuring clarity of responsibility and accountability and territory ownership.
  • Implement regular performance reviews, coaching frameworks, and competency development.
  • Create a culture of proactive planning, strong communication, and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Build engagement, morale and sense of direction through consistent leadership and recognition.

Commercial Discipline & Strategic Execution

  • Implement structured decision-making frameworks.
  • Ensure execution of strategic priorities: OEM penetration, diversification into new customer segments, and a balanced mix (Customer & Product)
  • Provide market intelligence back into European and global teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance & Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams across Europe and the UK.
  • Ensure seamless customer experience and strong alignment on product launches, campaigns, and supply performance.

Candidate Profile

Experience Required

  • 10+ years in commercial leadership across furniture, interiors, materials, textiles, or design-related industries.
  • Proven experience to develop and execute unified commercial strategies that deliver profitable growth.
  • Proven track record of leading teams across multi-country markets.
  • Experience in building high-performing sales teams and commercial discipline.
  • Deep understanding of design-led environments , customer behaviour, value drivers, product integration, manufacturing processes, and specification journeys.
  • Strong experience in customer relationship management, pricing governance and strategic pricing development.
  • Structured, disciplined leader : sets clear expectations, tracks progress, enforces standards.
  • Customer-Centric: listens to the voice of the customer and uses insight to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Strategic planner : builds roadmaps proactively
  • Commercially decisive : comfortable making tough decisions, protects margin, enforces process and ensures decisions are market and data-led.
  • Hands-on coach : mentors, develops people, sets goals, gives feedback, builds capability.
  • Relationship builder : credible with OEMs, A&D, and senior stakeholders. Represents Camira with key partners and industry bodies to enhance the brand and leverage opportunities.
  • Data-driven : uses KPIs, pipeline metrics, forecasts to steer performance.
  • Design-savvy : understands materials, trends, aesthetics, and the design-buying mindset.

Languages

  • Strong English for daily communication with the UK and EMEA teams.

Location

  • Germany (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Frankfurt, or similar major hub)
