Our client is seeking a Head of Institutional Sales for their institutional digital asset lending and yield platform. The primary responsibility is to expand the loan book and assets under management by establishing institutional trust. The role involves originating secured credit with entities such as hedge funds, market makers, and crypto-native companies while structuring and negotiating terms like collateral and pricing. Additionally, responsibilities include building and managing a substantial loan pipeline and collaborating closely with Risk and Operations to ensure sound underwriting practices.

The position also requires capital raising for yield strategies, managed portfolios, and structured products, alongside onboarding and managing relationships with various institutions, family offices, and funds. The aim is to convert lending counterparties into long‑term capital partners. In terms of relationship management, the role demands owning senior‑level institutional relationships, representing the client in private investor meetings, and navigating high‑stakes discussions as a credible counterparty. Strategic responsibilities include defining the institutional market strategy, shaping products based on external demand, establishing robust CRM discipline, and fostering a scalable environment through hiring and mentoring sales managers.

This role is ideal for candidates with over seven years of experience in institutional sales, capital raising, or structured finance, particularly within crypto lending, prime brokerage, hedge fund sales, or asset management. A proven track record in closing institutional deals and maintaining a strong network is essential, alongside comfort with discussing risk and financial structuring. Success is measured by the growth of the loan book, durability of capital sources, strength of relationships under pressure, and conversion of counterparties into enduring partners. Compensation includes a competitive base salary up to $300,000, with performance bonuses and long‑term growth incentives.
