We are looking for an experienced

Head of Supply Chain Planning

to join our BU Adsorbents & Additives in Barcelona, Spain.

Join our team in a key leadership role and help shape the future of Supply Chain Excellence at Clariant!

Responsibilities

Develop and implement robust demand forecasting processes to ensure optimal inventory levels.

Lead strategic inventory management practices across the supply chain.

Collaborate with production teams to create aligned and efficient production plans.

Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials.

Optimize distribution networks to minimize costs and reduce lead times.

Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams.

Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.

Provide strategic leadership and professional development to the supply chain planning team.

Requirements

Master's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business administration.

10+ years of experience in a global business environment.

5+ years in leadership positions.

Proficiency with SAP and Advanced planning systems (ideally Kinaxis).

Proven experience leading an IBP process.

Track record of building system capabilities and developing planning organizations.

Strong cross-functional change management skills, ideally with experience managing change in complex organizational environments.

Demonstrated team leadership abilities.

Preferred with industry certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, or CPSM.

Ideally Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
