HIL Test Engineer

We are looking for an HIL Test Engineer (m/d/w) with experience in the automotive sector for a prestigious client in Munich, Germany.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and maintenance of HIL architectures (dSPACE, NI)
• Requirements analysis and definition of test strategies
• Development and maintenance of automated and manual test cases
• Test execution and results analysis
• Logging, opening, and managing issue tickets
• Preparation of test reports and management of anomaly tracking

Requirements

• Experience in testing activities to validate software functionalities
• Experience in HIL benches (dSPACE, NI)
• Understanding of models, configuration, and analysis of results.
• Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink models
• Knowledge of the main communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet
• Proficiency in automotive diagnostic tools
• Proficiency with Vector tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer) and CAPL language
• Knowledge of scripting (Python, CAPL, Matlab)
• Understanding of V&V processes
• Ability to read electrical schematics, pin‑outs, and ECU specifications
