Your role in our team

As our new HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting leaders across commercial and corporate support business lines in Germany and the Netherlands, with a particular focus on the Space Operations line.

You will advise and support managers on both operational and strategic HR topics and support the implementation of our HR strategy in Germany and the Netherlands. You will act as a specialist and subject-matter expert within HR operations, employee relations, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

In this role, you will provide subject-matter leadership to a highly capable and dedicated People Service Consultant, who plays a key role in delivering excellent support across the organization. While this is not a direct managerial role, you will guide, mentor, and support the consultant through your expertise.

You will become part of the Global HR Operations team, with reference to the HR Director in Denmark. You will work closely with HR colleagues across countries and act as a key link between HR, payroll, and both internal and external stakeholders. You will also work together with the Danish team on yearly HR activities, supporting coordination and consistency across locations.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your key responsibilities include:

  • HR operations, Legal, and admin people tasks (e.g. contract management in accordance with current legal requirements, Payroll preparation, and other administrative tasks)
  • Business Partnering: Advise and support managers on operational and selected strategic HR topics, and drive implementation of the HR strategy in Germany and the Netherlands.
  • HR Controlling: Provide HR data, metrics, and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the interface between international HR, payroll, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Support and execute HR initiatives related to organizational development and change.
  • HR Projects & Processes: Contribute to improving HR processes and supporting relevant HR projects.
  • Annual HR Cycle: Support execution of annual HR processes in collaboration with the Danish team.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage HR processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local legislation.

Bring your world class expertise into play

You are fluent in English and German at a professional level, both written and spoken. Moreover, we are also looking for a new colleague with the following qualifications:

  • Holds a relevant educational background within HR, business administration, law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant HR role, including both operational HR tasks and stakeholder support.
  • A solid knowledge of German employment law and regulations. Experience with Dutch labor law is an advantage.
  • Interest in compliance and a structured approach to working with and implementing new processes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
