HSE Manager / SiFa (m/w/d)

sebamed seeks a dedicated Health, Safety & Environment Manager to oversee workplace safety and crisis management across our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Support shop floor management in all safety matters and crisis management.
• Act as point of contact for department heads on safety‑related topics.
• Lead ASA meetings.
• Create and monitor hazard assessments and operating instructions.
• Analyse incident reports and derive preventive measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety risks.
• Train leaders and staff to foster a safe work culture.
• Implement and maintain preventive safety measures.
• Lead emergency drills.

Qualifications

• Technical background: master, technician, or degree in a technical or natural science field.
• Certification as Safety Specialist (SiFa) and preferably qualified electrician.
• Experience in pharma or cosmetic industry is a plus – GMP.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital safety tools.
• Responsible, autonomous, results‑oriented with innovative ideas.
• Willingness to travel to our sites in Bad Salziger and Pfalzfeld as needed.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex safety topics.
