Your tasks and responsibilities:

Lead and develop the IAM team (coordination, prioritization, coaching)
Design, document, and optimize critical IAM processes, including Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflows, Business Role Recertification, Authorization Concept Lifecycle Management, User Recertification, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) management.
Develop and implement detective, preventive, and corrective IAM controls based on regulatory standards to enforce policy compliance and mitigate access-related risks.
Architect and deploy Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts, in full compliance with DORA and client-specific security requirements.
Conduct comprehensive Business Role Modeling, Role Mining, and Role Analytics
Apply Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles—such as Least Privilege, Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), Just-in-Time (JIT), and Just-Enough-Access (JEA)
Design and maintain robust Segregation of Duties (SoD) matrices, integrating regulatory requirements with business entitlements and categorizing risks to ensure effective control and compliance.
Manage end-to-end IAM project delivery, including project planning, stakeholder engagement, timeline management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, securing the successful execution of IAM.

Your skills and experience:

Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related areas
6–10+ years of experience in IAM (financial services or other regulated environments preferred)
Proven leadership experience (2–8 direct reports), including coaching, prioritization, stakeholder management
Demonstrated hands‑on capability in IAM:
IAM processes: Joiner-Mover-Leaver, RBAC/SoD, access reviews, recertifications
MFA, Conditional Access, privileged accounts and service accounts
Integration with Okta or similar IGA tooling
Experience in running BAU IAM operations in complex environments
Experience with PAM
Familiarity with audit cycles (internal audit, external audit, regulatory) incl. closing findings with clean documentation
Fluency in English. Professional working knowledge of German (at least B2)
