ICT Pre-sales Engineer / Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced ICT Pre‑sales Engineer who can support end‑to‑end project delivery from pre‑sales and solution clarification to execution, delivery, and final acceptance.

This role plays a key part in bridging business, technical, and delivery teams, ensuring that project commitments made during pre‑sales are successfully delivered on site.

Main Responsibilities

1. Pre‑sales Support & Technical Clarification. Participate in pre‑sales activities, including technical discussions with customers, clarification of project scope and requirements, review of technical proposals and solution feasibility;
2. Support solution understanding related to ICT systems, Data center infrastructure, Power systems (HV/LV) and ELV systems;
3. Assist sales teams in aligning technical scope, delivery approach, and project risks;
4. Project Delivery & Management, take ownership of projects after award and manage the full project lifecycle;
5. Control schedule, cost, quality, and risks to ensure successful delivery;
6. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones; allocate resources from internal teams, vendors and contractors;
7. Ensure projects are delivered according to contractual and technical requirements;
8. Manage contracts, technical scopes, and Change Requests (CRs), coordinate with internal stakeholders to address contractual, technical, or compliance issues;
9. Act as the key coordinator between design institutes / consultants, Engineering/construction teams, and third-party contractors;
10. Ensure compliance with approved technical solutions, industry standards and customer acceptance criteria;
11. Serve as the primary customer interface throughout the project lifecycle, organize and lead regular project and milestone meetings. Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and delivery risks;

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in ICT, Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related disciplines;
2. 3–10 years of experience in ICT or data center projects, covering pre‑sales and/or delivery;
3. Strong knowledge of Data center infrastructure/ICT systems/Facility infrastructure/Power systems;
4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and commercial teams;
5. Comfortable switching between pre‑sales discussions and on‑site delivery execution, able to translate pre‑sales commitments into executable delivery plans;
6. Flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks;
7. Proactive, result oriented and resilient with an ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities;
8. Ability to make recommendations with strong written, verbal and presentation skills;
9. Fluent Chinese and Fluent English are essential.
