Tasks
· Design and development of advanced, tailored enterprise applications within warehouse management and retail system environments using object-oriented programming principles.
· Ongoing enhancement and maintenance of assigned applications, ensuring system stability, performance, and reliability.
· Design and implementation of complex integrations between internal systems and external platforms, including web-based technologies.
· Preparation of technical specifications and creation of structured software documentation.
· Effort estimation, technical analysis, and end-to-end implementation of functional and technical requirements.
· Execution of developer-level testing, along with functional and technical quality assurance activities.
· Provision of application support within a DevOps-oriented operating model.
· Active contribution to continuous improvement initiatives, including participation in feedback sessions and retrospective meetings.
Profile
- Completed studies or vocational training in business information systems, computer science, business administration, or a comparable IT-related discipline.
- Several years of professional experience in object-oriented development within SAP environments, ideally with a focus on warehouse management systems and related frameworks.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes and solid knowledge of materials management and sales-related system components.
- Hands‑on experience in developing and enhancing system interfaces (e.g., IDoc, REST-based services, OData) as well as applying established extension and enhancement techniques.
- Practical experience in form development and output management solutions.
- Confident use of unit testing frameworks and familiarity with test-driven development methodologies.
- Interest in modern enterprise platform technologies
- Fluent German language skills.
- Ability to work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented manner, with a collaborative mindset that values contribution over hierarchy.
