Indoor Freight Sales Coordinator

About The Role

As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive, customer-focused professional who can deliver competitive solutions, maintain strong relationships, and ensure service excellence. You will work collaboratively across departments to drive growth, provide valuable market insights, and contribute to overall business performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of customers, ensuring competitive pricing, regular performance reporting, and high service standards.
• Proactively generate new business through self‑led prospecting, internal referrals, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers to resolve queries, address service issues promptly, and identify new opportunities.
• Accurately record all client interactions, opportunities, and follow‑ups within the CRM system to maintain clear visibility of the sales pipeline.
• Provide structured feedback, performance updates, and market intelligence to the Management Team through CRM reporting and scheduled review meetings.

About You

You’re a motivated and dynamic professional who understands the value of building strong, long‑term customer relationships and delivering proactive service. Commercially aware and quick to learn, you’re always looking for opportunities to add value - both for your customers and your wider team.

While experience in account management or sales would be advantageous, what matters most is your positive, proactive, and customer‑focused mindset. Experience within logistics, transport, freight forwarding, or related sectors would be a strong advantage, though direct experience within ferry services is not essential.

You’re a natural communicator with an approachable manner, confident in building rapport and collaborating within a team environment. At the same time, you’re self‑motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently, using your initiative to drive results. Above all, you enjoy connecting with people, thrive on achieving targets, and take genuine pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
