As Industrial Cybersecurity Expert you will analyze requirements from regulations, standards and customers, derive from them and ensure fulfillment via traceability. You actively involve in the definition of the underlying concept and align it with affected teams.
You perform the rollout of defined cybersecurity processes and activities by performing training and closely cooperating with developers. You support to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. You will support internal and external projects to meet their cybersecurity requirements. You step in when new topics arise and help drive quick and effective resolutions.
Embedded in a team of cybersecurity experts you have the chance to see cybersecurity from different angles and continuously exchange with and learn from colleagues around the world. Your contribution will help to improve the resilience of critical infrastructure to face the challenges of today’s world.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Performing requirements engineering: Specifying, reviewing, analyzing and tracing cybersecurity requirements.
- Shaping a unified requirements engineering concept: Supporting the creation and alignment as well as practically implementing a unified and holistic concept for cybersecurity requirements engineering.
- Collaborating with various teams: Working closely with and training different departments to enable cybersecurity requirements engineering.
- Implementing processes: Driving the rollout and training of cybersecurity processes and activities in the organization.
- Ensuring compliance: Fulfilling requirements from relevant regulations, standards and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NERC CIP, EU Data Act, CRA and others).
- Performing training: Training the organization on important aspects of requirements engineering and cybersecurity processes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor or Master degree in IT Security, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with a focus on IT Security, or a comparable qualification with extensive professional experience in OT or product security.
- Experience in performing cybersecurity requirements engineering in the discipline of OT or product security. Skills in using requirements engineering tools like Polarion, MagicDraw or DOORS.
- Experience with defining, rolling out and training processes in an enterprise organization.
- Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, CRA, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO27001) and with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and iterative planning, and backlog management.
- Enjoy stepping into new arising issues and help drive effective solutions and are able to drive topics continuously and sustainably.
- Proficiency in German and English, with a high level of initiative and communication abilities.
