Dentsply Sirona is a leading manufacturer of innovative dental devices, shaping the future of modern dentistry. Our solutions combine technical precision, outstanding usability and a design language that inspires confidence. To strengthen our Industrial Design team, we are looking for a Surface Modeller (m/f/d) who develops high‑quality, complex 3D surfaces in a demanding medical environment.

Responsibilities

Create high-precision Class‑A and design surfaces for dental devices and medical technology products
Work closely with a cross functional User Experience and Design Team
Mechanical Engineering and Technology and Product Management
Translate design concepts into manufacturable 3D models
Develop clean, continuous surfaces and transitions aligned with the company's design language system
Collaborate with rapid prototyping, model making for iterative prototyping
Define and document surface standards, guidelines, and best practices
Support the preparation of presentations, mock-ups, and design reviews
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design workflows and processes

SKILLS

Must have

Degree or technical training in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, CAD Engineering, 3D Modelling, or similar
Several years of experience in surface modelling (e.g., Alias, Rhino3D, NX, Creo — preferably Rhino3D)
Strong expertise in developing aesthetic and manufacturable freeform surfaces
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC, casting, etc.)
Excellent sense of form, detail, and technical precision
Experience working with design guidelines and integrated design language systems
Structured working style, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
Passion for high-quality products and cutting‑edge technologies in healthcare
