Industrial Equipment Service Engineer

A leading international manufacturer is seeking an Industrial Equipment Service Engineer to join their team in Germany.

You will be responsible for the maintenance, technical support, and documentation related to industrial equipment delivered to customers across the region.

This position is ideal for those with hands‑on engineering skills, CAD experience, and strong communication abilities in a technical environment.

TYPE: Permanent, full‑time

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday (TBD)

SALARY: TBD (typically in the range of €50,000–€70,000, depending on experience)

START: TBD

LOCATION: Dusseldorf – Business travel required

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, servicing, and modification of industrial equipment
• Provide technical support and respond to inquiries from distributors and customers
• Prepare technical specifications and drawings using CAD
• Create sales support materials and technical documentation
• Conduct on‑site technical assistance as required
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent technical standards
• Support continuous improvement of equipment performance and service quality
• Maintain accurate service records and reports
• Participate in training sessions and product knowledge updates

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Valid driving licence
• Practical experience using CAD software
• Business‑level English (spoken/written)
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills for dealing with customers and distributors
• German and/or French language skills
• Experience as a Service Engineer / Field Engineer / Application Engineer
• Background in industrial machinery, mechanical systems, or electrical equipment
• Ability to travel within Germany and occasionally within Europe
