Inside Sales Executive - Air & Ocean

We are currently partnering with a leading global freight forwarder to support the hire of an Inside Sales Executive (Air & Ocean Freight) based in Frankfurt.

The Role

As an Inside Sales Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial team by driving revenue growth through proactive customer engagement, quotation management, and account development.

This position is ideal for someone with 2–3+ years of experience within freight forwarding or logistics , looking to further develop their career in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to customer RFQs and pricing requests for Air & Ocean freight
• Proactively engage with existing and prospective clients to identify new business opportunities
• Support the external sales team with lead generation and follow-ups
• Prepare competitive quotations in collaboration with pricing and operations teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business
• Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and track sales activity
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or inside sales
• Strong knowledge of Air & Ocean freight products and processes
• Commercially aware with a proactive and customer-focused approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environments.
