Your Mission

The Inside Sales Specialist drives engagement and revenue across unassigned direct and indirect customer accounts. This role requires outbound calling experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to provide reliable administrative support to the MS Regional Sales Manager.

Core responsibilities include conducting proactive sales calls, managing inbound leads, and nurturing customer relationships to identify and develop new business opportunities. The role also provides daily support to Distributors on project-related business and handles essential sales administration tasks such as pipeline management, quotation preparation, and sell-out reporting.

What You Will Do

Inside Sales (80% in DACH)

  • Manage customers in the region that are not assigned to the Field Sales Team
  • Respond to customer inquiries, understand challenges, and recommend suitable products or services through an open and consultative dialogue
  • Utilise product and industry knowledge to build trust and credibility with customers
  • Follow up prospects to identify and qualify leads (e.g., from trade shows or website)
  • Cold call and qualify System Integrators (SIs) and end-users to identify prospects from market data
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with inactive historical customers by upselling or cross-selling new products and solutions
  • Develop high-prospect unassigned accounts to become assigned accounts and hand over to Field Sales Account Managers

Administrative Support for MS Distributors (20% in DACH)

  • Administer specific sales activities for the department, e.g., sell-out reporting collection from distributors, channel promotions, and rebate & bonuses in coordination with Sales Operations Teams
  • Provide first-level support to distributors and unassigned customers with information on products, prices, availability, and delivery times
  • Process, present, and execute campaigns, promotions, and programs to ensure sales success
  • Act as intermediary between the Regional MS Sales Manager and other relevant sales operations departments as required
  • Attend regional trade fairs and events where Epson or channel partners exhibit MS-based solutions
  • Ensure opportunities are included in MSD Pipeline and kept up to date in the forecast system to ensure data accuracy

What You Will Bring

  • Good level of education
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain high activity levels
  • Consultative selling experience: advisory approach and solution-led selling
  • Product (Robots) and Industry (Industrial Automation) knowledge and previous experience desirable
  • CRM experience in common CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong administrative skills
  • A positive and can-do attitude
