ENG Bauen is working alongside a major international engineering contractor on a strategic petrochemical construction project in Germany, contributing to Europe’s energy transition and circular economy objectives. The project is entering a pivotal construction-to-handover phase, where statutory inspections, certifications, and authority approvals must be tightly coordinated to maintain schedule, quality, and system readiness.

We are seeking an experienced Inspection Specialist (TÜV) to manage and coordinate all interactions with regulatory authorities, ensuring inspections, certifications, and approvals are completed on schedule. This site-based role sits at the interface between Construction, QA/QC, Completions, and Vendors, with direct responsibility for integrating authority requirements into mechanical completion and system handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site interface with TÜV and other statutory authorities for pressure equipment, mechanical systems, and safety‑critical installations.
• Plan, schedule, and track inspections, tests, and certifications to meet statutory and project requirements.
• Monitor, track, and close authority‑related punch items or non‑conformances to avoid handover delays.
• Work closely with Construction, QA/QC, Completions, and Vendors to embed authority requirements into mechanical completion and turnover workflows.
• Ensure all documentation, certificates, and approvals are accurate, complete, and recorded in the Completions Management System.
• Advise project teams on statutory requirements, compliance risks, and inspection readiness.

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical or engineering background (Mechanical, Piping, or related discipline).
• 5+ years’ experience coordinating with TÜV or equivalent authorities on industrial construction projects in Germany / DACH region.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PED, pressure equipment inspections, and statutory compliance processes.
• Experience coordinating inspections for process, utilities, or mechanical systems on large EPC or industrial projects.
• Fluent German required; English essential.
• Strong site presence, assertive communication, and proven ability to drive authority approvals to closure.
