Interim CFO / Finance Transformation

Pearse Professionals are supporting a private equity–backed infrastructure services platform in seeking an experienced Interim CFO / Finance Transformation Lead. The business operates across asset-intensive, regulated end-markets, with revenues largely underpinned by long-term contractual arrangements with high-quality counterparties. The investment marks the start of a new phase focused on scaling the platform, professionalising the finance function and executing value-creation initiatives.

The Role

Working closely with the CEO, senior leadership team and the investor, the Interim CFO will take ownership of the finance agenda during a period of change and growth.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading a finance transformation programme (reporting, forecasting, controls and decision support)
• Improving cash flow visibility, working capital discipline and financial planning
• Enhancing investor and board reporting
• Supporting strategic initiatives, including organic growth and selective M&A
• Reviewing and upgrading systems, processes and governance appropriate for a PE-backed environment
• Acting as a commercial and strategic partner to the leadership team

Candidate Profile

• Proven Interim CFO or senior finance leader within PE-backed and/or asset-heavy businesses
• Strong track record in finance transformation and professionalisation
• Comfortable operating in complex or regulated environments
• Commercial, hands-on and credible with investors
