Intern Analyst - Portfolio Management 3-6 Months (m/w/d)*

Munich Re Investment Partners is the Munich Re Group’s specialist asset management boutique focused on market‑driven investment solutions for climate‑committed institutional asset owners. Our goal is to deliver financial performance and contribute to climate mitigation through innovative investment solutions.

Your Job

• Assist the Portfolio Management team to prepare market and research commentaries.
• Contribute towards research efforts on new markets, products, and trade ideas (liquidity constraints, competition, regulation, etc.)
• Help prepare regular reporting on our funds to internal and external stakeholders (current market environment, development of relevant KPIs, etc.)
• Update and maintain internal documentation, including work instructions and guidelines.
• Assist in other day‑to‑day tasks of the team.

Your Profile

• Enrolled in Master in economics, mathematics or a related field.
• Basic know‑how in capital markets, finance, and investment management (e.g. through internships, studies, etc.)
• Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Proficiency in English and German (written & spoken)
• Reliable and precise

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence‑/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
