About The Job

Global Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) ensures that external spend in all areas of IT and non-IT is managed in a professional and compliant way. The procurement teams negotiate global frame contracts and/or global deals with external vendors to steer global external spend and to leverage the buying power of the Allianz Group. Within GSP, you will be working for IT-Services Strategic Procurement. This team has the responsibility to manage and to negotiate all spend belonging to IT consulting and application development services.

What You Do

• Support and observe the team of Strategic Buyers along the complete lifecycle of sourcing projects (from preparing and running a tender to offer analysis and evaluation until awarding and contracting)
• Creation of excel reports to track procurement activities
• Preparation of PowerPoint presentations ahead of team- or department meetings
• Support in negotiation preparation activities (e.g. preparation of Amendment documents) and observing contractual negotiations with suppliers

What You Bring

• Advanced studies (preferably business administration; either in Bachelor or Master)
• Interest in Procurement and Project Management
• Social skills & team-based attitude
• Ability to work independently in a structured way
• Experience abroad (study period or internship) is a plus
• Very good communicative skills in English
• Profound knowledge in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles and their practical use

You can start in September and are interested in a full-time internship (38 h/week) for a period of ideally 6 months or longer.
