Intern Investment Management Consultant for Business & Strategy (m/f/d)*

Do you want to work in the investment management field and deal with complex issues on business development topics?

We in Group Investment Management (GIM) are responsible for managing Munich Re's and ERGO's own investment portfolio with a volume of around € 240bn. Within GIM, overarching investment related tasks are consolidated in the Investment Development & Operations department. The Business Strategy & Operations team focuses on business strategy, management and risk topics and strives to translate initiatives into scalable and sustainable solutions.

For the Business Strategy & Operations team, we are looking for a motivated Intern who will support in business related projects and/or operational topics like improving processes, analyzing of business topics and developing of appropriate measures/ solutions or supporting the team in preparing of structured documents with a case related storyline.

Together with the Business Strategy & Operations team, you will

• drive strategy, change, innovation initiatives and contribute to projects
• support product development and coordination of implementation of new products
• assist in leading operational and process enhancements
• preparation of presentations including creation of a storyline in PowerPoint
• conducting analysis of business topics and improve internal documents
• develop your consulting, data analytics and project management expertise

Your profile

• Advanced stage of your degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field
• First experiences in teamwork and motivation to accelerate your skills
• Excellent English skills in written and spoken, German is a bonus
• Very good MS Office skills (esp. PowerPoint and Excel)
• Ideally, first practical experiences in asset management and/or (management) consulting
• Clear motivation to pursue a career in investment management and/or (management) consulting

Duration: ideally 6 months / full-time (part-time possible) / hybrid working

Students from countries outside the EU require a German residence-/work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before/during the entire internship.
