Job Overview

Are you interested in capital markets? Do you follow the latest trends and developments in the area of indexing and exchange‑traded funds (ETFs)? At the same time, you like working with large amounts of data. Then you will very likely fit into our team!

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and analyzing M&A, corporate action and price data.
• Working with various financial market data vendors (e.g. FactSet).
• Integration of data into a SQL database.
• Preparing back‑tests of country benchmark indices.
• Active involvement in the development of market beta index concepts.
• Supporting with client requests.

Profile

• Enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar.
• Interest in stock markets, index construction, and ETF products.
• Basic understanding of financial market data, corporate actions, and their impact on indices.
• Competent user of MS‑Office applications.
• Strong command of Excel (VLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH, data manipulation).
• Experience with Python (Numpy, pandas…) and SQL, knowledge of Git/Gitlab is advantageous.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Independent and structured working style.
• High level of enthusiasm, creativity and teamwork.
• Excellent English skills.
• Ideally available for 6 months.
