Your role

You will support the Group Strategy & Business Development department in analyzing, identifying, and developing strategic options, acquisition activities, new business models, and other important internal and external projects.

• Active participation in the development of group strategy at both national and international levels within the CHG-MERIDIAN Group
• Monitoring and conducting performance reviews of corporate and country strategies
• Preparing industry, market, and competitor analyses as well as strategic analysis of future changes
• Supporting the development and preparation of country analyses within the CHG-MERIDIAN Group
• Assisting with internal strategic projects and their project controlling
• Active involvement in M&A projects, from identifying potential acquisition targets to due diligence and company integration
• Contributing to the creation of business plans, profitability calculations, and company valuations
• Collaborating with various other departments and teams in different countries, including top management
• Applying artificial intelligence to conduct data-driven analyses and support strategic decision-making processes

Your profile

• You are enrolled as a student in business administration, economics, finance, or a comparable discipline
• You have strong analytical skills, a high level of commitment, and a sense of responsibility
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Enjoyment of international collaboration
• Willingness to become a full member of our strong and humorous team for 40 hours per week over a period of 6 months
