Rocket Factory Augsburg AG in Augsburg is looking for an intern (m/f/d) to support our Software site team. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply with us.

Your Tasks

• Build and maintain a detailed mathematical model to quantify and mitigate risks associated to our launch operations
• Develop pre- and post-processing python tools to support the flight safety analysis
• Implement CI/CD and Git pipelines for streamlined data analysis and cross-departmental collaboration
• Perform statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulation

Your Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies in Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace Mathematics or related discipline
• Basic knowledge of statistics, analysis, model generation, and verification
• Experience in working with Python and GIT
• Knowledge in state-space representation and high-fidelity statistics
• Fluent in English (oral and written; all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Self-independent, hands-on mentality and a structured way of working
